@kinenai Alcohol and fastfood are disgusting and should be purged.

@shzywansui The fact that there are people who get riled up over nothing is what is truly funny. I can almost picture you sipping wine and looking down your nose at others critical of those who dont see it your way before your late night shift at mcdonalds. You must be on the rag to be so righteous. Do us all a favor and have an activia yogurt before you hemorrhage your intellect from your ass.
-
@shzywansui Anyone with half a brain could tell it was an exaggerated comment to begin with. Why you feel the need to bitch to others when nobody gets really hurt is beyond anyone. If you dont like free speech regardless of tone or diatribe you should move to north korea. Jackass!
-
@kinenai So now you admit you were exaggerating the country's backwardness after first denying it. Rhetoric like yours is disgusting and ignorant - and really doesn't provoke laughs either.
-
@shzywansui Take it easy sensative susan. Im not trying to advance anyones cause nor did I ever mention that as my intention. It was simply an exaggerated comment regarding the 3rd world status of the country. If anyone can be accused of being condescending here its you. By the way, websites like this are full of color commentary so prepare to have a horrible ache in your ass.

@kinenai The DPRK needs engagement, not people ignorantly going on about how it's stuck in the stone age. It's better developed than most African nations, though a lot of it's infrastructure is crumbling given the end of Soviet aid. It's not a modern-day Auschwitz. There are death camps in the DPRK, but comparing the whole country to Auschwitz is totally unrealistic and hints that you almost certainly have never visited.
-
@kinenai No, it's not fact at all. Most North Koreans see photographs every day. Sure, a lot of the photos are doctored, but hey're there. And they won't get any real news about the outside world at this news stand. It's heavily censored. Cell phones have been legal for several years in the DPRK, they just can't make international calls. Of course KCTV paints a rosy image of the DPRK - that's how the propaganda machine works. Your condescending exaggeration will do no good for Koreans.
-
@shzywansui No its almost fact. Its very well known that that which are everyday mediums of information in well developed countries, is strictly forsaken in north korea. People who arent allowed by the nk goverment to own a cell phone are killed or inprisoned for many years if caught with one. Certain people are also chosen by gov. officials to appear on camera and present a great image of life in modern day auchwitz. Refugees have confirmed this.
