@Hothmaster Well... yes and no. They're designed from the ground up to be played with more than one person. However, there's nothing saying that you can't set up a story or something and then run a character through it. Sometimes it's useful for seeing how a particular fight or situation would go. However, since you already know what's going on, it would mostly be an exercise in mechanics. You'd lose out on all the social interaction and story surprises playing with other people would have.
Once I had the local dialect of Davenport refer to beholders as gazebo's... and a gazebo on the Daven estate was refered to as the beheldorich...
I was pelted with dice a few times for that,,, once they put it together... two sessions later.
Then there was that time they were told "The Orc 'Kul' has the answers you seek..." ... So they sought advice from the high-priest of a temple in nearby Redherring ... who was the nearest known oracle... sigh... they never figured that one out.
@blackbarnz I find it way more player friendly and interesting. The campaign setting actually made me want to play a human, or part human anyways. There's always room for improvement though :D.
My friend has been trying to get me to join his tabletop RPG for the longest, but I was completely lost! This helped me out a bunch. Thanks!

@Hothmaster I'll answer that. No. Tabletop gaming is about socialization and is designed for groups. Playing alone would defeat the purpose.

I have a question. Can you play tabletop RPG's by yourself? Can the World of Darkness games and Mage: The Awakening be played by yourself?
