@Daftseedy44 yes mate! im 16, got a quote for one, was about 6k! im looking at getting a 106 quicksilver though, 1.4, GTI bodykit minus the spoiler and alloys. my plan is to get one, GTi spoiler in it, saxo VTS wheels and lower it...!

Is the insurance alot for a first car?
-
have the 1.6 16 v GTI and goes over 220 kmh...;)

I did a lot of long distance driving and with the car on skinny tyres and stripped of weight my best was 53mpg at about 65mph over 400 miles. In normal driving 70ish i would get around 45mpg. The car was run all its life on mobil 1 0-30 oil and i still miss it to this day. The best car i have driven regardless of price. If you have one njoy it and keep it as long as you can.

@pugdanceben hi :) see you like the 106 :D
what MPG do you get?
-
@happykiller66 You're wrong, mate. 0-100 kmh is 8,2 sec for both cars. Max speed: the 106 16 V can reach 203 kmh, the 205 1.9 can do 201 kmh. I prefer the 205 1.9 only because it's better looking

Damn, I never knew you could drive so fast that your shadow couldn't keep up! XD

Great Vid!

they break alot but very fun cars
I have a 106 gti and never want to get rid of it.
They are fantastic!
If you get the chance buy one if only for a week i bet you keep it longer than you thought you would.
Also put it on 15" wheels with 195/45 tyres.
It sharpens the handling up a treat and no need to fart around with the suspension.
Thankyou peugeot for making the 106 gti it rocks!!!!!!!

In the UK yes, but in some parts of Europe they were offered with the 1.6 16v GTi engine.
