As stated by hundreds of drum educators before: You can just learn one thing or many things just from listening to the local drummer playing at your neighborhood bar...!

Guys I gotta tell ya...all this who's better and who's best crap is really not where's it's at...Realize this that they ALL have something to offer and ALL are great...they ALL do certain things better because they are all different...yes dave and vinnie have developed more technically than steve and jeff BUT they both worshiped steve's and jeff's and MANY OTHER drummer's playing when they were coming up, loved there playing and still do...Be open minded guys about everybody.

Weckl and Colaiuta are both far more technical and advanced modern drummers than Steve Gadd.
