Great machine, extremely rare indeed. If I had a choice of jukeboxes it would be a WurliTzer 1500A 1550 or 1500A/F. It was my understanding from what I have read that the A/F was the only model that could play intermixed 45 and 78 RPM records.
Luis - This machine is a mechanical nightmare and unless you are a seasoned restorer of jukeboxes I would not recommend you try to restore it. You MUST purchase the original manuals for it or you will be lost in 5 minutes. Go on the Internet and look up "Victory Glass" co. in Des Moines Iowa. They can sell you the manual. There are 2 manuals for this machine so make sure you get both. This model was made in '52 & '53 so make sure you get the right one for your model. Bueno suerte!

The 1500 series was made in 1952 and 1953. All models could play both 45 & 78 intermixed. I never heard of an F model for that series. The machine is a mechanical nightmare and I would not recommend it for most people. Had great sound but only one 15" speaker that played mono. By contrast, Seeburg was already using Hi-Fi and had far superior sound to Wurlitzer machines. Look at the V200 series in my videos and you will see what I mean. Thanks for your reply.
