Pregnant Ghost Shrimp

I was just filming how they were eating, but then I realized this little girl was pregnant (berried) ... you can see the green eggs inside it easily. Either way, looking the how it munches the flake is amazing too.

The best way, IMHO, is to set up a new small tank where you put the frys apart until they have enough size not to be easily eaten, or either siphoned by the filter. Then you can feed them with "infosoria" (see my reply to "justincrap" about how to make infusoria).

Using a nursery cage didn't work for me, as the frys are very small and can easily get out of the cage, having a too early end :-)

i just got ghost shrimp yesterday and i found out 1 of them is pregnant but i cant find them anywhere in my pond how do i find them try to send back a message asap

Ohh .. it's a pond? I don't know really how you could find them other than looking and looking. Depending on how big your pond is it could be a difficult task. I don't know if anybody with experience in ponds could help. Sorry!

One of mine looks the same way. I hav 4 and a betta in a half gallon tank. Will get new And bigger tank soon cuz flick my betta is kind of aggressive towards them

What I did was to put the frys in a small tank, so I could clean the mess up without loosing them. What did you do at the end? btw, did yours survived?
