Simple Strumming pattern / 2 Chord Rhythm (joedocmusic Guitar Journal Jan 2012 / Beginners)

In this lesson, you'll learn a new strumming pattern to add to your repertoire. This makes a nice addition for those who have ordered our "Learn Guitar for ABSOLUTE Beginners" DVD, but if you play a bit already, you'll be able to follow along even if you don't have the DVD.

This pattern could fit to a well known song, although chord changes and rhythm patterns are always public domain - they cannot be copyrighted. This is IMPORTANT for all musicians to know! NEVER copy melodies or lyrics, but if you find a chord progression and/or rhythm you like, feel free to use it to inspire your own melodies and lyrics. This is not only entirely legal to do, but is common practice, and an important part of our musical culture.
