@edwinaisobese It's much harder to HONE in on the flag with a lob wedge when you have ~12ft of green to work with from the lie, distance and elevation he was against the 9 iron with more than half the green to abuse from the fairway. The only way that anyone would choose #1 over #2 is that #1 was an eagle.

no way is 2 harder than 1, its so much easier to home in on the flag with a lob wedge than a 9 iron, regardless of where you are on the fairway

I definitely agree with you guys about how #2 was such a hard shot, but it's pretty hard to turn away from a hole-out eagle, even if it was from minimum yardage.
