Showing my homemade telecaster I made in my high school woodshop. I Made the body only, it's 3 piece Maple, with a pretty lake blue paint job. All squier/noname parts.

Also I just bought some thumb picks a few days ago and have been playing with them, I like it :)

  • where is a good place to start country? any artist suggestions?

  • @TheBluesMood Bridge pickup with a compressor. try to make percussive sounds with strings. popping them with your index finger. also, Brad Paisley is the master, so listen to his music. Major keys, with open string licks are good. search youtube for country guitar licks. there is lots of stuff. Country guitar is awesome. I just got a b/g bender!

  • Great! I plan on building a custom Tele some Day, sounds good.

  • @TheSquierTech thanks! I made this one in 2009, and I have a Strat that I made in 2010. It's a lot easier than I thought it would be going into it.

  • sweet!!
