Part 106. The doctors discuss Tolliver's condition and how he'll need surgery. Edward asks Alan and Monica is Tolliver is dead yet. They don't know and Edward wants to know why they don't know! Edward is worried that if Tolliver lives, everything will come out in a trial. Amy talks with Lesley and goes on and on about the Quartermaine party. She wants details! She drives Lesley nuts. Rick, the other doctor and Steve all agree they need to get the bullet out of Tolliver but it's risky with his bad heart and advanced age. Edward, Alan and Monica continue to discuss the whereabouts of the papers. Celia comes in and asks questions about Jimmy Lee (she's got no shame!) Meanwhile, Robert searches Jimmy Lee's room but finds nothing.

Actually, I think one of the Vinings is dead...can't remember if it's the mom or dad. She came to live with Rick and Lesley when Laura was still living with them and she stayed. I think she considers Rick and Lesley her substitute parents.

@dwood37............ Most soap focus one character or couples.... back in the days GH focus on Luke and Laura and some of other cast particular John Beradino was not please and other characters leave like Richard dean Anderson and Mary O'brien did not renew there contract when it expire.

I believ it was the mom , Barbara, that died and Amy went to live with them then...she was still just a teen at the time so I believe Rick and Lesley became her guardians. I always considered them her parents.

That's what I figued. I just wondered if the show ever addressed this. Rick and Lesley seemed like cool step-parents, even if Lesley had a tendency to go off.
