Moelfre Lifeboat Day 2008

Moelfre Lifeboat Day, Anglesey, 2nd August 2008.
Launch of the Lifeboat and rescue display with the RAF.

The Moelfre Lifeboat Robert and Violet is a Tyne Class boat 47-013. It is to be replaced within the next few years with a Tamar class boat which will require the Lifeboat House to be replaced.

This year's event was even busier than last year. No air display because the helicopter was out on a rescue, but the crowds were massive. I will be posting a new vid of this year soon :)

I went here a couple of weeks ago.

It's quiet and peaceful :)

I wish I went when it was 22nd, that's when the newest one was on. Oh, well :(
