@TheDoctorEmily (2) however it is quite grotesque to see God as a mean tyrant in this film. I am not sure if you are a believer or not...with all due respect, but I am just saying this, and forgive my sadistic point of view (blame me) but I rather want God to threatened me or kill me to straight me up with my faith or my devotion than losing myself in evil with the devil.

@TheDoctorEmily the old testament has a different time period from the new testament. but think about it, the moments when God decides to teach us about love and forgiveness it is when the new testament starts. When the predictions of the son of God comes, there is a sense of hope that bible characters get. And plus think about the modern times, the whole concept about the new and old has change, there are many interpretations, and for our understanding it is never easy to find a universal fact.

my favorite part in this video is when the Red Sea parts. The height of the song and the scene of the sea parting go together so well.

I never really understood this movie. We are taught that violence is not the answer and we shouldn't kill, but God decides to kill a bunch of innocent Egyptians and destroy Egypt all to free his children. I mean, I understand why he did it, but did really have to be like that? I hated the plague scenes when I was younger, and the Angel of Death terrified me.
Still, this song is beautiful and you did a great job on this video. Thank you :D
