A few nice runs in daylight this time on the newly found short and shallow site. We both crashed trying for a shallow line over the bushes and then through some trees. I could have just scraped it but I didn't fancy the certain carnage if i didn't make it over the dead tree branches in front. Its not impossible, should make it next time if i can loose less speed getting over that f*cking prickle bush. Other flier is Chris. I'm flying 2007/8 nano 13 Chris is on the 2009 nano 12.5. Chris creamed full bore into the prickle bush (gauze) unhurt ( just hundreds of spines to pull out). It took three of us fifteen minutes to get the canopy back.
not pretty at all, if you guys dont learn what you are doing you will end up seriously injured.

I agree, thx for pointing that out. My advice to anyone learning speedfly is to be V.careful, sensible & err on the side of caution -especially with regard to progressing slowly & choosing sites & conditions which are well within your skill level. Respect the very real danger or get hurt. Wear protective gear & take it easy. As you can see from some of my vids i have crossed that line a few times. Part of the reason I post bad launches & stupid decisions is so people can learn from my mistakes.
