"Baba Yetu" can be heard on Christopher Tin's debut album "Calling All Dawns", a 12-song concept album featuring performances by the Soweto Gospel Choir, Sussan Deyhim, Anonymous 4, Dulce Pontes, Frederica von Stade, Lia, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

"Baba Yetu" is also well known as the theme song to the video game Civilization IV, and has received hundreds of live performances around the world from professional orchestras like the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia, as well as local school and church choirs.

The Dubai Fountain is created by WET Design, the creators of the Bellagio Fountain in Las Vegas. It's situated at the base of the Burj Dubai, the tallest skyscraper in the world.

It's world music, man. It represents humanity.

I'm an atheist, but I know a masterful piece of music when I hear it.

  • This is SOOOOOO Beautiful

  • AMAZING!

  • As millions of Americans can't find work this is where your money goes every time you fill up at the pump... Yet our leaders won't even let Americans build a pipeline...

  • Where in Dubai is this?

I will do anything for watch this in real, it's really amazing and i'm impressed!

  • ...the word of God shall be preached to all ends of the world...

  • windows movie player effects xD

  • The only video game sound track to ever be not only be nominated, but win, a Grammy award in it's 53 years of history. Well done, Christoper Tin. You did everyone proud.

  • This and "I Will Always Love You" are, in my opinion, Dubai Fountain's signature songs. This choreography (and that of the other mentioned) are magnificent, subtle and gentle where they need it, and powerful only at the right moments. Many fountain programmers know nothing about timing and pacing, and WET has punctuated these flawlessly. Of course, choosing just the right music for a particular fountain show's abilities and resources is the other crucial thing. A better match couldn't be made.
