"I think it's shortsighted for the UFC to try and keep him from doing that. He should be allowed to do that and get that notoriety, showcase his skills in the boxing arena and frankly, where else is he going to make that kind of money? I mean, it's ridiculous that they're not allowing him to do that. as Randy will look to move into commentating, i'd love to see him come over to BAMMA (British MMA), i think it would be a big boost to British MMA, and lets face it, we could do with it. we have the fighters, but not the publicity. =(

The reason the UFC does not want Silva to boxe Jones is because he would lose and the company probably thinks that it would reflect negetively on the sport of mma, this in my opinion is not true, I think even if Silva lost it would still say nothing as to who was the better fighter just who was the better boxer, I'm sure the UFC higher up's realize this as well but the real problem s the ignorant ass fans who cheer for a figher one day and call him a can the next.

Randy's right somethings gotta be done about the organisations controlling there fighters eg: Silva wanting to fight Roy Jones win or lose it would be great exposure for the sport of MMA Another thing is fights that the fans want to see at least in boxing there is a chance for fans to see the fights they want to see, just negotiations are the key for these fights to happen, in MMA you've got different organisations that have excellent fighters but cannot face each since they wouldn't be allowed
