When Wade James got into a terrible motorcycle accident, his wife, Jan, feared the worst. She wanted to get their two sons home to their fathers bedside as soon as possible. But both sons were on active duty in the military -- and Johnny, the eldest, was in Iraq. Jan didnt know exactly where he was, much less how to get a hold of him.

Thats where the American Red Cross came in. Jan was able to get in touch with her sons through our Service to the Armed Forces program, which helps service members and their families communicate during emergencies.

As we remember those that scarificed this Memorial Day, please contribute to the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces.
