  • 1) Their native language is Swedish.

    2) Their focus is letting the music do the talking.

    3) They make the songs understandable to others whose primary language is also not English--they're popular worldwide.

    4) The lyrics of this particular song are fine! It's a play on a common expression in music. The double meaning of the song is to be yourself and that people have a lot in common despite different exteriors.

  • Meravigliosi!!!

  • @XxWeccaxX He's not using an octave pedal to hit that. The guy belts low b flats no problem.

  • @Anderspish I thought the meaning of the song was that you should go naked (a capella) in Acapulco! That's what they meant when they said behind our "fashion" we are all the same ... naked! And being funny in a second language is no easy feat

  • @iamthecube he has an octave pedal

  • The soprano and the bass are freaks of singing nature. Nuff said.

  • Actually this might be confusing if you understand the literal meaning of what "a capella" means in Italian -- "wearing a small hooded cape." The use of the diminutive form of "cappa" to refer to a small chapel, and then the notion that singing "a capella" ("in chapel style") means singing without instrumental accompaniment...and finally the humorous reference of this implying "not wearing anything" is a long string of semantic evolution that is bypassed by those who understand Italian.

  • @arfarf2009

Fashion always changes from place to place/But behind that we all are the same

    (scatting)

Some people like to wear a pajama/especially at the islands of Bahama/You know the folks just wear their jeans/When they're listening to jazz in New Orleans/You better wear your new slip over/To be sure you don't catch a cold when you're in Dover/You're outta style if you have no tie/It's the latest fashion wear in Shaghai

  • @arfarf2009 All over the world/People wear whatever they dare/So we would like to suggest how to dress/At the place we like best (But of course)/It's a matter of taste...

    Acapella in Acapulco (x4)

You better wear a proper shoe, yes/when climbing up the mountain in Peru/Don't be afraid to wear a dress/When you're looking for a monster in La Paz
