I think I understand the name of the song...

Dorothy had to tap her red shoes together to return home--they were her ticket home. I can't remember when this was used, but maybe Battler thought he was about to go home... when it turns out his "red shoes" were a lie, or "fake", rather.

I think its called Fake Red Shoes because in the Wizard of Oz the shoes had great magical power and the witch of the west wanted them back just as Virgillia wanted the Title Endless Witch and Name Beatrice back from Beatrice however when Virgillia "Won" Beatrice fooled her and her "red shoes" were a fake

@EphidelDarkheart Yea, I'm going to have to go back and read episodes 1-7 when 8 is done translating. I miss reading the whole thing with the music playing along. So many memorable scenes and music pieced together. Sometimes I get disappointed on little one song gets played, but that's ok. It makes it all the sweeter I guess?

@silverbluemetalwolf Maybe it worked out differently in the anime (I have heard they still used a version of this song there), but in the visual novel this first plays in a single scene of the third episode, Banquet of the Golden Witch. I think the only other time it plays that I've heard it was in one scene of the sixth episode, Dawn of the Golden Witch. It's surprisingly rare for how amazing it is.

This was played when Virgillia and Beato fought in Arc 2., forgot what anime epsiode it was. But yea. This is when Beato and Virgilia staged a fight to fool Battler. That was an amazing battle nonetheless.
