In this video I use a powered USB Hub (Griffin Simplifi Dock) to re-test equipment connected to the iPad via the USB adapter from the Camera Connection Kit.

@ERICALULZ Yes, but unfortunately the iPad doesn't output enough power for many USB flash drives.

The flash drive must have a file titled DCIM with your photos in it.

There's a reason it's called Camera Connection, not external HDD and keyboard kit.

Have u tried formatting ur drive or usb-stick to something iPad likes? Dunno, FAT32 or smthing Mac but not NTFS.

it's better to buy Windows pad and use all USB devices, programs without problems. Of you can't read documents from iPad so what for to buy it?

what about a wireless keyboard that's not Bluetooth???

im looking to buy a ipad but my only problom with it is that i need to be able to right papers which i mostly cary from a usb drive i need some thing to be able to support this.

i was going to get one of these to use 2 usb devices at the same time .. would that work?

@warlockboyburns On the iPad? Maybe if one USB devices was a keyboard and the other storage, it might work together. But otherwise the iPad can only access one drive at a time.
