The latest updating of the 'Nitrous/Methanol Anti Lag System with Afterburner Augmentation' tune-up.
Engine: 224 cid BUICK Stage I V6
Fuel: Methanol only
Turbo: Borg Warner Airwerks T6 S510/91mm, 1.15 a/r split turbine housing
Exhaust back pressure to intake boost pressure: 0.90:1 @ 28 psi boost
Torque converter stall: 3000-3200 no boost, no nitrous
Nitrous activation point: 2500 rpm
Nitrous turnoff point: 5,309 rpm, 148 kPa MAP (7-8 psi boost)
RPM spike after nitrous shut off: 5606 rpm
RPM leveled out at: 5360 rpm
MAP leveled out at: 179 kPa MAP (11-12 psi boost)
Time duration to the target turnoff point for the nitrous system (145-150 kPa MAP, 7-8 psi boost): 1.40 sec. New Low! Previous best was 1.54 sec.
Fuel curve during nitrous activation: complex
Timing curve during nitrous activation: complex

Transbrake engaged during the whole test.

Video of a new best of 1.32 sec. for nitrous assist time duration coming soon. Possibly, even more improvement still to come.The clues are there.
