NOTE** There has been a bit of information incorrectly put out in the comments. YOU CANNOT leave boot camp as LCpl UNLESS 1. You are the Company Honor Grad (which I was not) and 2. You are the series Honor Grad and they decide to promote two of you. ------ Marine Corp Ball, fresh out of boot, drunk, and trying to keep my bearing! I was selected as youngest Marine, and in keeping with traditions I was in the cake ceremony with Gunny Ermey. I got a couple of free beers that night after that. Sorry about the quality, its sort of old.

  • @alxusmc I didn't delete my reply because I think you're right. I did it because I realized to argue with you would disrespect the video. Congratulations to you.

  • @intenselan I see you deleted your reply, it doesnt matter what ROTC you take, shit, I was AFJROTC and I joined the Marines, bottom line, they don't give out E-3 for JROTC, only honorary grads, normally 2 or even just 1, but they earn it by being the company honor grad

  • urgay lol

  • @intenselan actually you are highly mistaken. Only in the Army can you graduate as an E-3 with 4 years of JROTC in High School. In the Marines, only one or two from each company graduate as E-3/Honor Graduate, it's always a guide, and it doesn't matter how much JROTC you have. I know this, because I had 4 years of JROTC when I signed up and the most I was eligible for was E-2/Pfc
