    groetjes

    Robert

  • Thanks! The bass keeps impressing me too. A lot of fretless basses start 'singing' when you hardly touch it. That's not my cup of tea. This bass can sing if YOU want but it can do much more then that!!

    Take care

    Robert

  • You play very soulfully. Really enjoyable to listen to. I use Logic too. Do you have a web page where I can here more?

My bass has the soapbar (rectangular) pickup and the unique wooden bridge. I think it is an amazing bass with it's own very distinctive sound.

    Anyway, keep it up hombre!

    Stefan

  • Hi Stefan,

On my website you can listen to some more songs I have written. At the moment I am busy with my first solo album.

    Have fun

  • Beautiful sound! Like the sliding harmonics. I love this Sandberg bass. I have a Sandberg Custom Thinline Fretless bass, I got six years ago from the Bass centre in London. Mine looks a little different to yours. Your pickup looks oval. Does yours have the wooden bridge?

You play very well. What are you playing it through?

    Stefan

  • Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your reaction. Yeah the bridge is made of wood and I think it is one of the secrets of it's fantastic sound. In this video I play through my Macbook (Logic). I use Logic for al my recordings. I record my bass 'dry' (no amps and pre-amps) and add the efx later if needed.

    Take care

    Robert

  • Wow, you really impressed me, I wish I could play like you do. :) Great tone, anyway. One of the best fretless tone I've heard. Great job. :)
