    But when i add my meters between it to measure the amps... the system will shut down... !?!

  • @FREEGARYMCKINNON --- I took some measurements and the relation between in and out is normal i would say...

    0,6 Watts in without a load (only caps) and head

    0,8 Watts in with 0,2 Watts drained from the load...

    The rest is head on the pot and transistor...

  • nice setup,i used an step-down transformer instead of the induction and 2 diodes ,i hooked up to it an big 20uf capacitor and it charged the damn thing with 700v and it kept climbing :)) so i shut the whole thing of,NOTE: it ran from about 2.6v :)
