Quake - End Map - Shub-Niggurath's Pit

Part of a series of videos showing the game Quake by ID Software. The set difficulty is Hard, as can be determined by the first video in the series (Slipgate Complex). Map transitions are consistant, meaning armor, weapons, health, and ammo are carried over to each map. After the end of each Episode (4 total), all weapons, ammo, and armor is lost, and the health is reset to 100. Hope you guys enjoy =)

**Note: This map transitioned from Episode 4: Map 7 - Azure Agony. This is the final map in Quake.**

How did you set up your mouse so that you could look up/down? I have quake 1 in both ancient disc-form and a download from steam, and i can only do that with the arrow keys, which is a hassle for me. Is it some simple setup in your controls?

It may depend on the version, but if you drop the console and type +mouse, it should work.

That floating spike-ball-thingy that is moving around the the teleport destination. It even goes to a secret area =) But be careful lol, that lava sure does hurt.

The pit didn't open for me when I completed all of the episodes. I had to use noclip.
