The first date with my girl Florence, now my wife of 46 years, was at a performance of "The Seasons" with the Cathedral Choral Society under Paul Callaway at the Washington Cathedral - Jan. 15, 1961 - in the snow 6 days before the Kennedy inauguration. 34 years later I sang with this same group under J. Reilly Lewis, I still have the program.
