@Culfoxio I remember when Adventureland in Farmingdale seemed like 100 miles away! Life was definitely good back then. Can't even explain it to my kids I wish I could bottle it so I could show it to them..

My husband and I went to the Nevele for a company getaway in the mid 90's. Sadly, it looked the same as the above commercial so it wasn't that nice but I remember this commerical as a kid. Never forgot the jingle.

My cousins owned it until about 11 years ago. The chineese firm that bought it mismanaged funds and wrecked the place. What a shame. So many fond memories of spending summers there.

I still have a pin on button that says 'Calm Down at the Nevele'. Stuck a magnet in it and put it on the Fridge. I think it was eleven brothers.

Hilarious now that I look back at what I thought was an awesome place to visit. I was 12 or 13 when this commercial came out -- Life was sooooo innocent back then. God...how I miss those awesome years, when I thought that upstate NY was a long way from Brooklyn.... ha, ha, LOL...now I travel all over the world for work and pleasure and those years seem so quaint!
