what BS about FM passing white or not coming out: 70s interview clips all say he's from zanzibar, he never denied his private life - even joked abt it. so they laud jagger/bowie for dallying in "bisexuality" as PR, don't chastise bowie for using a stage name - but everything about FM must be maligned just b/c they INSIST on pigeonholing him for "deviance"? do they not see his life is about the RIGHT to belong and partake in mainstream culture no matter who he is, PERIOD?

J'aime Freddie Mercury plus que n'importe quel autre artiste au monde. C'était un grand monsieur, un homme à la voix d'or, une star dans le sens noble du terme avec un charisme incroyable! C'est pour cela que je déteste cette vidéo. De son vivant il n'avait jamais parlé de son homosexualité et n'aimait pas parler de sa vie privée.Pourquoi ne pas respecter cela? Cette vidéo trahit sa mémoire.J'aurai préféré que l'on parle de sa musique et de Queen .La vie privée est privée!
