@bogdy555ful for more information: simone was terribly ill with a rare syndrome, and throughout the year not perform playback, I think that is respected:), if you look at the presentation of Pinkpop 2010 Unleashed, you'll see that she takes pills to start.

She's very young though and has obvious talent. Expecting for more in the future.

@bogdy555ful You know, I have to agree with you. I really like the color of her voice, but her control, power, and pitch live are often lacking.  Even on the cd's it sounds it she's struggling at times. I like Epica's music a lot, but I just don't think she has the strength or versatility to carry the songs. All of this in IMO, of course. :)

I keep trying to like this girl, but just cannot.

Here for eg she is out of tune many times, struggling and has no control. Her voice is all over the place.

IMHO she's the weakest link in this band.
