Meteorologists Robb Lawson, Kevin Darmofal, Jim Caruso and Mike Ekster intercept a nighttime tornado near Ellis Kansas on May 23rd 2008.

We were heading east on 70 and crossed the damage path near Ellis where the tornado flipped 3 semi tractor trailers, but we didn't see the tornado. We did see the first Quinter tornadoes though

Man I would be freakin out if a tornado hit after dark. How could you tell where it touched down or where its going to hit?
