MP Reacts to Former Children's Aid Investigator, Jason Walker, Investigation.avi

VICTORIA - Jason Walker is the 31 year-old Victoria man awaiting an appearance in court charged with fraud.
Saanich police allege he's been passing himself off as a doctor when he is not.

Walker also had a taste for politics, serving as president of the federal Liberal party riding association in Esquimalt-Juan de Fuca in 2006.

The MP who represents that riding, Keith Martin, says he is shocked and dismayed by news a former campaign volunteer and party colleague has been charged with fraud.

Martin, who says he last saw Walker a year ago, remembers the accused as a "hardworking and intelligent" person.

Martin says Walker's professional credentials were not relevant to the work he did for the riding association.

Remember the child protection expert with a Phd in child abuse - only he'd bought his Phd on ebay for £25 or $40.

In court he said he didnt want to spend his time studying, as he already considered he had enough experience, so won't sit the exams.

Imagine your doctor or surgeon not going to medical school, as he'd been a Butcher for Wal Mart, so there was no point going to medical school. After all he'd been a butcher for years.
