I took a trip out to Niagara Univeristy with my fiance. I am looking to possibly transfer there and finish my degree in Special Events and Destination Management. I booked a hotel room for one night at the Radisson Fallsview on the Canadian side. It was only 15 minutes away from the University. I got so much more out of this trip than I expected. We had a nice hotel room. We were just going to go out to eat and then come back. We decided to take a taxi (I definately suggest it since I didn't feel comfortable driving more than I had to in a foreign country). The Rainforest Cafe was great. Then I saw there were lit up horse drawn carriages in the park, the cost was $40. It seems steep but I'd do it all over again. We went through the park by the falls because the Festival of Lights was on display, I had no clue that was going on. I know some of the pictures are blurry but I was using my camera phone. They had a lot of disney themed displays. Our carriage driver told us that at 9pm there was going to be fireworks over the falls. It was absolutely breath taking. I would suggest going at this time. It is cold but it's beautiful!
