Because they were scared doesn't mean they were not brave. It means they went anyway, i think thats what we should always remember.

during my Vets day memorial, they played this song. what i thought was mean is how people were laughing at the accent ( i wasent) but what got me realy mad was when the soilders walked by some the kids in the lower kids accually no joke yelled "kill the jap" i told them to STFU, what im saying is to always respect those who or are fighting no matter what country. oo and awesome song

My Grandad was in the RAF in Lebanon in WW2! My Great uncle was killed outside Tobruk by a German Shell (whilst driving a supply truck)! Another Great uncle was torpeadoed on the Atlantic convoys. I am English. My wife is German! No regrets and no hatred just compassion! Her family suffered as much as mine!
Todays world is different! We,the West fight a different enemy! No compassion , no integration, no forgiveness! We band of Brothers and Sisters must stand up AND FIGHT together!

My Dad fought in WWII with the Canadian Army. I have always been proud of him and my husband who serves with the US Army. The last thing my Dad did before he passed away was give my husband a salute from his hospital bed. I will never forget that and I will never forget all of the soldiers who serve proudly all over the world. God Bless them all.

Don't worry! You friends dad will come back safe! The good people out there will pray for his safe return! Those that laugh will feel misery in their lives one day! Be brave and regards and respect to you!
