When I created this video, I wanted to make something that would be a nice fusion of my old and new editing styles. With my old style, I used clip placement in relation to emotions created by the music rather than lyrical sync, and my new style focused on precise timings and careful attention to detail in terms of camera movement, color, and figure placement. However, this video was also a bit different in terms of transitons. Every clip in this video is carefully placed, and the transitions are deliberately slow to bring more depth to the story created through the clips.
In the end, I was incredibly happy with how this video turned out, and often cite it as being the one video of mine that could have gone far, but was never taken to competition.
