For over 50 years, war between the U.S. and Russia has been UNTHINKABLE, since it means "Mutual Assured Destruction", or M.A.D. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.A.D.

That's why the U.S. and its NATO allies, did NOT expand NATO protection to Hungary in 1956, Czechoslovakia in 1968, and Ukraine and Georgia, which border Russia.

But now, Sarah Palin wants the U.S. to give NATO protection even to Georgia, which just had a war with Russia.

When asked, by ABC's Charles Gibson, in the September 11, 2008 interview: "But then under the NATO Treaty, wouldnt we then have to go to war with Russia, if Russia went into Georgia?" She replied: "Perhaps So."

She claims she is qualified in National Security because Alaska and Russia are "next door neighbors".

ABC reported this as: EXCLUSIVE: GOV. SARAH PALIN WARNS WAR MAY BE NECESSARY IF RUSSIA INVADES ANOTHER COUNTRY.

The problem with Palin's answer is not simply that she accepts the policy of expanding NATO willy-nilly, without regard to the nuclear implications: it is the way in which she recklessly speaks about war with Russia, as if, the stakes were no greater than a hockey game. For a potential leader of the United States of America, with her finger on the button, that is not acceptable.

As Ilan Goldenberg, the Policy Director of the National Security Network, pointed out, about Palin's answer:

"No sane American or European leader would ever ever ever give an answer like that. You do not get into hypotheticals about nuclear war. You just don't. Palin references the Cold War. The only reason the Cold War stayed cold is because our leaders understood the stakes of getting things wrong and saying things that could lead to catastrophic nuclear war. During the Cuban Missile Crisis every word, every public statement, and any message that the Kennedy administration sent to the Soviets was checked, double checked, and triple checked to make sure it was sending precisely the right signal. This is what you are forced to do when you have thousands of nuclear weapons and so does your opponent. The stakes are simply too high. And yet there is a nominee for the vice presidency of the United States who may one day have her hand on the button and she is casually talking about potential catastrophic nuclear war."

  • @visionseeker50 guys, we were feeling the same in 90's when the fkn rokefellers and has destroyed our USSR! But time is getting back now for USA. So we do understand how you feel! Greetings from Russia

  • @IMINLUVWITHANITALIAN Believe me, no matter where you will be, but you will be exactly in the middle!

  • @val28l She's fuckin M.A.D.

  • She is the primary reason behind McCain's disgraceful lose to Obama. He picked a stupid idiot as a running mate, thinking that Obama made a bad choice not choosing Clinton. He would have a better chance with a man instead b/c if Clintion was needed to win, Obama would have chosen her already. Stupid McCain. Those many years at the VC prison camp had taken away many of his IQ. As for Palin, she's better off a home pumping out babies b/c her stupidity shows clearly every time she opens her mouth.

  • @amdsoccer94 Shitty is what Sarah Palin is. And if god forbid she's elected, then that will make your country shitty too. Thank god there are such firm leaders like Putin who eats opposition like her for breakfast. If she'll ever get the chance to put hands on Russia, trust me my western friend, Vlad will squash her like a bug. Of course I don't think that U.S. is stupid enough to elect her, but if so, my advice to you - leave the country if you really don't wanna die for a shitty country(USA).

  • Yeah, and Obama added a few more trillion dollars to that debt.

  • @HighlanderWallace Yeah the U.S was trillions of dollars in debt years before Obama...

  • Obama has proposed many stimulus packages that have put us further into debt. Is that valid enough?

  • @amdsoccer94 and you are very smart young man. This degenerated ugly bitch does not work for your own good, but for Zionists; they will never show their asses in the middle of the war.

  • Americans are stupid they dont understand that they cant if they want the world to stay in one place they cant go into war with Russia
