Jasper on the lunge line again

Lunging fine at the start on the right reign, then I reel him in and try to lunge him on the left... He has none of it and stomps his feet and keeps trying to follow me around.

Not too far from the end of the video he has a bit of a bronc before finally going back around on the other reign... Not sure why he refuzes to lunge on the left reign... Perhaps he's had a bad experience.. He's never been good with whips at all, when he was in the riding school before I got him, if anyone tried to chase him on with a lunge whip when the rider on him couldn't get him to move, he'd run backwards at the person with the whip, kicking out at them.

you are backing off too easy, and letting him get away with stuff. so of course he is going to behave like this.

If you'd known what he was like a few months ago you'd know why, also before the video was taken, and I've been working on just chasing him around the school without a lunge line since this video was taken as advice from my aunt. I'll try lunging him again after a few more sessions and see how he goes, he's going fine without the line at the moment.
