Kevin Lake, author of OFF SWITCH, talks with The PTSD Retreat Radio Talk Show about his book and PTSD. This is an amazing individual who spent time in Iraq as an Army enlisted individual and his story is very moving. if you have a loved one dealing with PTSD, I encourage you to read his book for his common sense approach to dealing with individuals with PTSD. While his book is fictitious, he writes from personal experience and based on his and his buddies experiences. ..."Off Switch" is particularly touching because it speaks of his personal experience so poignantly. Though this is a work of fiction, Kevin actually stood in the shoes of this returning vet. His words are very telling of the pain these soldiers experience, not just in deployment, but arguably more so in their homecoming.
