    "Isiah 29:13"

There is no further evidence needed that you are INTENTIONALLY misleading people than this ridiculous prooftext.

God is condemning their mechanical "worship" of Him including their false claims of fearing Him.

Notice how your "interpretation" is completely at odds with Christ's words (again)

    Matt. 10:28

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell."

  • @Lrothtube

"For the love of God you have to let your tradition GO!!"

Of course, I should have seen it long ago. Why wouldn't anyone disregard 2,000 years of church's orthodox teaching and the very words of Christ Himself and blindly follow your INTENTIONAL misleading, twisted interpretation of the bible.

Your bogus assertions are on par with the garbage put out by the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • @Bill244888 Isiah 29:13 And the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw nigh unto me , and with their mouth and with their lips to honor me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their FEAR OF ME...is a COMMANDMENT OF MEN...which hath been taught them ;

  • This makes me sad

  • I wish I could talk with this dude, just to explain what makes his"doctrine" so dangerous and incorrect

  • Some may say that if hell doesn't exist, then why would anyone go to church? If hell doesn't exist, we have more reason to go to church. It means we can truly understand God's love. We're told of God's ultimate lovingness and forgiveness, but would God, if He was that loving and forgiving, send people straight to hell?

I Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

  • @Bhuktaman

Scripture give no clear indication of Adam's final destination.

    And that proves . . . ?

  • @Bhuktaman Here is a cut and paste from the first time I answered you about Deut. 12:31

Deut. 12:31 - Can you not even keep worship and punishment for sin straight? They were sacrificing children in WORSHIP of false gods. How do you logically equate that to God justly punishing sin?

I don't know what bible you're reading, but mine doesn't have Jer. 9:31

Now, about that "extermination" verse I was asking you about . . .

  • @Bhuktaman

Did you actually read the text, or is this the result of a concordance search for the word "fire"?

It was obviously a literal fire seeing that two of the guards that threw Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego into the furnace died from the heat exposure.

The threee men were miraculously protected by the angel who was in the furnace with them.

Do you now get to slap the label "figurative" on any text that you don't like?

  • @Bill244888 This is a conversation. I asked you about Adam earlier. I asked you about Deuteronomy 12:31 as well (see Jeremiah 9:31 too). No response on either. Am I to assume that when you don’t reply to a point you’re capitulating the point?
