Christians: You are the reason why our youth need to told it gets better. For generations your religion fostered the intolerance that is now so deeply ingrained in society and continues to do so today. How ironic that a faith that began in persecution now has mastered persecution. I have only contempt for the Abrahamic religions. Each has forgotten what is was to be the powerless victim and has become oppressors themselves. How can you preach love but practice hate? Where is God in that?

@Kushan250 That kind of thinking is what's sad about your religion. It programs a human being into believing what's written in a book rather than your own intelligence and heart. You are more a follower of the rules in a book than your soul.I think it's because people like you are too afraid to trust yourselves and are afraid of where you are going when you die. It's a shame to live your life in this small amount of time given, constantly trying to follow a rule-book and judging others too.

@hortulanus94 And, i think if you read my statement again, you'll see that the onus of intolerance in more focused on the so-called christians and their behavior. Frankly, if it was just in the bible it would bother me but it is when it is in the people that it's a problem.

@kallistiX1 Well, I guess your book knows me better than I do. How can a mere mortal contend with the word? And just like that my humanity and your compassion goes right out the window. Rules is Rules, right? If I CAN'T play by them then to bad for me, right? You can pity me and pray for me but I've already lost the game, haven't I? Intolerance 101. Intolerance is what I have accused christians of; hate is the toxic by product that makes 13 y/o kids hang themselves. Glory,indeed.

@kallistiX1 Ah, but their in lies the rub. Why would a loving God create a gay person on to tell them that they must be put death for being what they are? For christians the answer is simple: you're a sinner and you chose to be this way. For sex, for base pleasure, vanity, selfishness, lust. Forget the fact that as I child prayed that god would make me not like "those" people, I must have chose this because the word cannot be wrong therefore I must be mistaken about my entire life.
