[PC] Battlefield 3 - Jet Rocket Pods - (CQ) Operation Firestorm - by SepalusAuki

High quality PC gameplay footage from the release version of Battlefield 3. In this video I am showing the only jet unlock that wasn't in beta - rocket pods. You need 6200XP (jet) to unlock them.

Is there a way to make the analog throttle work? If so please tell me how. If not, what is your solution to the crap support logitech has with this controller and BF3.

@mikesbaker It's the game developer's fault. They probably included the worst last minute fixes to even include some sort of joystick support. So I would say you just have to deal with it...or get some sort of macro that does the tapping for you...

BF2 had adjustable throttle.

I'm searching for hours to find out how to use these rockets, what key do you need to enable them?

@hehematn The same key you use to change to heatseekers or guided missiles. Rocket pods don't come at stock, you have to unlock (and select) them.

@mikesbaker In Ps3 you have an adjustable throttle. You can even land again

you have good aim with the cannon. I find it hard to hit them unless they are moving in a straight line lol

been playing this for about 4 weeks and i took down a tank with just the normal guns!! never been happier! I usually dont last in the air for more that 30 secs but finally getting better with the planes!!

@BFSepalusAuki yeah i cant believe how bad the game pad controls are on the PC!! I dont see how they cant fix it especially as they have developed the game for the consoles!

i have rocket pods unlocked but when i cycle through my weapons i only have machine gun and guided missle??

@Nathapr0 Yeah, it took me awhile to get the hang of it on 360, I finally said f*ck it when some guy stood between me and a building and I just roadkilled him and blew up to get the heatseekers
