Castlevania SotN - Royal Chapel Spike Room Trick

Well, you really don't need the spike breaker in there. Just watch the video. Note: Changing into a mist before the sealed door and then changing back to Alucard will give you time to use an instant healing item. Instant healing items like potions grant Alucard a few seconds of invincibility allowing him not to get hurt in spikes. The event with Maria is important to get to the next castle, be sure to pick up the Silver Ring.

This doesn't work in the PSP version in DXC, because you aren't allowed to go from Bat to Mist like that, since to go to Mist, its R + L so the game just doesn't let you auto turn, you either go to Wolf or just change back to Alucard, then to Mist, so its impossible to get through here without the Spike Breaker in that version.
