I am also curious if and how well this altazm style setup or dob setup would be able to track with an object. Are they capable of tracking for photography? I know the folks at obscession can set me up with a nice bit of kit for the latter. Can you folks at webster do the same on an 18"?

@ZbLuffer It's funny you mention that, because I've heard nothing but WOW's from people about Obscessions very sharp optics. So I too was wondering about these Telescopes and how thier Optics would compare in quality to the OBSC's I am interested in purchasing an 18" OBSC, but after finding this video I am now Wishing more information on the Webster telescope line. I am quite serious and would like to be up and runing before fall if possible. Cheers, IC.

I'm just starting to consider putting aside 17,000+ bucks for the C28. Everything seems better than Obsession's. I wonder how much the shipping costs and customs duty to France would be.

You can do short exposure astrophotography with the stock tracking system. For long exposure astrophotography you will need to add a field derotator or a guide scope.
