Rosana - Using the Vantage to Write

Rosana is a delightful and hard working nine year old. She has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. She is non-ambulatory and uses a power wheelchair. She can vocalize some vowel sounds and uses vocal inflection, but has no intelligible speech. Rosana uses a Vantage Lite to communicate her wants and needs. In this video, Rosanna connects her Vantage to the laptop in preparation for a writing activity. While her classmates write using pencil and paper, Rosanna uses her Vantage to write in her computer. Her Unity vocabulary supports her by providing whole words and word endings minimizing the keystrokes required, but she can also spell.
