He is fast but not enough good for playing an improvised solo on COUNTDOWN from Coltrane. Unfortunately the pieces from Coltrane is just a beginning for studying true neo classical music and its combination with jazz..Playing very fast on an 8 or 16 bars lasting chord by using heavy distortion and some other effects(in order to play fast) does not mean much for us. So, musically there is not a huge difference between Britney Spears and a neo classical shredding guitarist. Have fun dudes...

@SchecterC1Shredder Dude, I agree that this guy is a jackass but that's got to be the 2 poorest arguments I have EVER heard. Seriously, Britney Spears is famous but does that make her the greatest vocalist in the world? Certainly not.

I think regardless of style and preference a musician as dedicated as this deserves respect. The people in the room certainly appreciated what he was doing... and he was doing it live and loud, not in his bedroom!

they both have near perfect technique, but their playing styles differ quite a bit, so we shouldn't even be comparing the two... PG and RC both rip in my mind. My 2 favorites along with chris storey
