Theo is too clean on vocals. What I mean is he is magnificent but what made Levi so magical was the singing out of the range, emotional strain conveyed by the obvious strained vocals and the imperfections that made him human. The imperfections of Levi's voice are what made him so damned perfect. Theo can sing like a bell but the vocals are so clean and clear that it seems to lose something in the process.

On a song like this you don't really need to sound like Levi. I thought Theo did a superb job that would make Levi proud!

don't forget that theo was with the temps before he joined the tops. he's all over the "phoenix rising" CD. my favorite song on that album is "this is my promise" you hear that tempts sound because he once was a mighty temptation.
