This is the (Original) Boogie Woogie by Clarence "Pine Top" Smith (otherwise known as the "Pine Top Boogie"...

Hammond H-392 with Leslie 610.

Hello again...just shot a couple of quick videos here on my Hammond H-392 testing out my new camera. The Concorde is currently down for some maintenance work, so this will have to do. It's in sort of rough shape, as you can see (got it that way), but it still manages to sound pretty good with its Leslie Model 610 Speaker. More and more things are starting to go wrong with it, in fact as I went to make these two videos, the spring reverb stopped working...but the acoustics in the room aren't too bad...Hopefully the Concorde will be back online soon!

  • Great work. I would love to see what you could do on something that hasnt been tru a meat grinder lol

  • @kwried haha...yeah, this one has pretty well been through the wringer. Check out the videos I made on my Concorde. That organ is in really nice shape.

  • Oooh! Sounds catchy :D

  • @HannuSKorvala Thanks!

  • WOW!! What are those settings? I can't get the sound right at all! Your good! Keep it up!

  • @expertman60 Thanks so much! I don't know exactly what I used when I played this...a couple of the presets were used, the "trumpet" one, with the Leslie off, and the "Clarinet", but the rest of it was done on the fly, off the cuff with the drawbars. I just pull them out and push them in until they sound good...haha The H also has the two additional Mixture drawbars compared to what you'd find on most Hammonds, so that adds even more harmonics.
