Nice video. McSherry is truly one of the greats. I love his style. He has all the wildness, passion and imagination mixed with amazing control and technical brilliance.

I think McSherry is amazing!
The echo in the room seems to make the tune sound a bit swirly and maybe makes it sound faster than it is to some people. This aside, it's perfect: perfect rhythm; perfect timing.
Padraig's great! But McSherry's a genuis!

a little too fast for my taste...it sounds more like a race than a dance tune :p try the myspace webpage from Jarlath Hendersen and Ross Ainslie. There is an excellent version of "The Old Bush"

I think the exact same. I prefer older style pipers myself. My favorites would be Robbie Hannan and Kevin Rowsome. Padraig is indeed fantastic though. I must get his new album "Bye a While".

Yes, he is. It's a wonderful live concert. McSherry is a great piper, but I don't like his pipering (too modern!). Padraig was incredible, playing fast or slow... you could taste the atmosphere.
