  • Don't listen to that person. It's a different culture. Just because it doesn't seem to fit into your culture doesn't mean it's oppressive, it's just different. There's a different structure and different meanings to things that without the cultural background you probably wouldn't understand.

    The women probably wouldn't appreciate having their side taped. Honestly it's quite LIBERATING to be able to dance with joy without MEN STARING at you.

  • These women are one of the happiest women.

    To say they are oppressed is a joke! How about the men are being oppressed as they are segregated from seeing the women dance? While the women are liberated that they can dance without distraction of stares of the men.

    I guess it all depends on how you view things.
