Midnight is a 9 year old TWH that just about everyone wrote off as being too old to learn anything. He had been a pasture pet for most of his life. A handful of people, including his MUM and his Most Cousin Gina felt otherwise. Together, Midnight and Gina took a FIRST place in their division at the 2009 Three Phase Event, a National versatility show for gaited horses. It was Midnight's first show of any kind and Gina's first time to ride dressage. Mr. Midnight's Mom is a co-founder of One Horse at a Time, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit group committed to combatting equine neglect and abuse. One Horse at a TIme, Inc. is also an advocate for various equine issues, including the horrendous practice of soring and padding of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Midnight has been trained with natural and sound practices. That combined with the heart of a champion shows that dreams can come true.
