Were we penguins missing something?
When we came home from a pleasant but hectic four hours at the market last night (Saturday) and watched a recording of David Attenborough's Frozen Planet, we realised we WERE that mass of penguins, moving at glacier speed, the ones in the middle seeing little. The smallest of penguins saw a lot of feet, but nothing else, bless them.

Many penguins we were (walking) - sorry, waddling alongside expressed surprise that we couldn't hear any Christmas music (one stall at the bottom of the castle ramp did play some country & western). There were also quite a few whingeing penguins in the throng, (usually the male parent, gnashing at a seal burger), and more than is normally found on the glaciers of Lincoln

They may well have been placated by some jolly festive sounds. Please can we penguins have some festive music next year as we waddle round, piped from the many speakers, which did actually speak, but only to say 'MOVE SAFELY'. As opposed to... er stampede? Penguins don't stampede, they are too nice.

Ultimately the market was too successful(!) There were more penguins migrating than expected, and not enough that they could see (or hear!) comfortably.
If you don't sort this out next year, I may well report you to David Attenborough.

Ive only ever been twice but me and my mate are going again this year
i actually cnt believe i have lincoln for 10 years and only been twice.
