Gonzoe is a member of The Regime and a former member of Kausion, a group put together by Ice Cube & he was also a member of the Outlawz (left after 3 months). He was given the nickname "Young Ritzy" by Tupac Shakur. In 1998, he released his debut album ''If I Live And Nothing Happens'', Outlawz where featured on 3 of the songs... He also contributed to albums by other artists, including Kurupt's Kuruption! Yukmouth's Godzilla etc..
